Wesson is one of my favourite heroes. Ever since his release I wanted to realise his fullest potential. However, it is quite evident he is mediocre at best. Death Mark is undoubtedly his best skill. That being said, his other skills are in dire need of a rework to make him seem way more viable.
Improve Rolling Thunder
While I assume it is to replicate Panzer’s Clean Sweep, the slightly increased damage that it does whilst the enemies or not in cover doesn’t compensate for its somewhat sluggish cooldown time. We could shorten its cooldown time and/or rework the second statement as follows: ‘For each enemy above 50% health, Rolling Thunder calls in an additional strike.’
Make Loyalty more consequential
Right now, Loyalty is…bad. The reason why Ronin became the PvP star that he is is mainly because of Honorbound. Loyalty’s attempt to replicate that is disappointing, really. While I understand it is easier to make a team composition consisting of UAF and UAFA than a team with heroes that have a lower max health, Ronin’s Honorbound allows for more diversity in team composition, whereas Wesson is only limited to two factions whose members are mainly Energy and is devoid of Bio-Chem members. For me, the main driving factor for Loyalty is the Attack Damage increase, as Wesson is not a fantastic DPSer by any means, but Loyalty isn’t significantly helping. Therefore, I suggest to:
Add a Bio-Chem hero or two to UAF and UAFA or double Loyalty’s Attack Damage and Health bonus to Wesson while perhaps extending Wesson’s total Attack Damage bonus to UAF and UAFA allies.
