0.6 Release Notes

Hello, Gun Rise fans! Another month means another update for the game! The team would like to extend a special thanks to those of you that took the time to fill out the Community Survey. We were pleasantly surprised to see just how passionate our community is, and your opinions have been heard! We’re so grateful to have such an involved and dedicated community!

Here’s what’s new in Gun Rise 0.6:

#New Features
##Co-op Raids
Kurtz is testing a deadly new Assault Walker. Team up with a friend to take it down in live co-operative raids across a variety of difficulties! For this first release, you will be able to Quick Match with another random player (no bots, so this may take some time!) or invite players from your Alliance.

Co-op Raids have a limited number of Wins, just like Daily Raids. However, accepting an invite from an Alliance member or a request to replay at the end of a match does not use one of your wins!

We’ve heard your feedback, and we think you’ll like the Co-op Prizes! Each day of the week features fragments of a different hero, and every day drops elusive Grenade crafting items!

##Elemental Hero Fragments
We’ve changed the way fragments work in the Crate Shop. Now when you purchase a Hero Crate and win a hero you’ve already unlocked, the duplicate will be automatically converted into Elemental Fragments. Imagine this; you’ve just opened a Hero Crate and you get Vanguard, but you already own him. Instead of receiving Vanguard Fragments, you’ll now receive Energy Fragments. These new Energy Fragments can be used to Evolve any of your Energy heroes.

There are Energy Fragments, Mechanical Fragments, Bio-Chem Fragments and Universal Fragments. When you unlock a duplicate hero, you will receive the corresponding amount of Elemental Fragments based on the Hero’s elemental affinity. Universal Fragments will be rarer; look for them in future events!

Note: Locked Heroes cannot be unlocked using these new Elemental Fragments, and existing hero-specific fragments will not be converted to Elemental Fragments. You’ll still be able to acquire Hero-specific fragments the same ways you do now. The new Fragment types are exclusive to the Hero Crate.

#Changes
##Events

  • New events should now be labeled with a “NEW” tag to help identify them

  • Alliance Events now require you to earn at least one point in the event to claim rewards

You forgot about the team level cap. What is the new max level?

There was a change to the way we limit team level progression. The max level is still 50. However you will stop 1 xp short of 51

@Huginn one thing that really caught my eye, is how Moss’ AI was improved. Only using his healing skill when needed. Excellent work on your part guys

@Huginn since co-op raid came into the game, chat pips remain for hours. I think they are raid invites. But long after the invites are cancelled or fulfilled, the pip stay around

We’ve noticed this as well. The team will be working on resolving it.
